Are you interested in finding information on the taxes the City has collected this year? Interested in knowing how much it costs to run City departments? The City of Fairbanks is happy to announce the launch of Open Finance, an interactive program that allows residents and other interested parties to access up-to-date information about where the City stands financially.
Open Finance is part of our commitment to improving transparency by providing a guided view through complex financial information. This program provides an easy way to look at the types of revenue we collect and how we allocate public funds. While much of this information was previously available by accessing our official yearly budget document on our website, Open Finance is updated weekly to show where the City stands on revenues and expenses.
The charts, graphs, and tables included in Open Finance are all highly interactive and we invite you to explore the information. This program can be found by visiting the Finance Department page of the City of Fairbanks website: https://www.fairbanksalaska.us/finance.
