What is the pay like for the position of Dispatcher?
- The pay scale depends on experience but ranges from $25.90-$37.74 (Dispatcher) and $31.08-$45.29 (Dispatch Supervisor)
- There is a 5% increase to base pay for swing-shift and 10% increase for night-shift
- There are opportunities for overtime, which is paid at time-and-a-half and double-time
What qualifies as a lateral dispatcher?
- Lateral dispatchers are experienced on a CAD system and have been working recently as an emergency dispatcher
- IAED certification is preferred

Do you have to have previous Dispatch experience to apply?
- You do not need previous dispatching experience to apply, however, you would not qualify for the lateral bonus
- New applicants that apply will take an assessment to make sure they have the basic skills required for the job
- FECC provides new employees with an extensive paid training program
