Fairbanks Police Application Process

 

To apply for a Police Officer position, simply register for testing at www.publicsafetytesting.com

 

  • To begin the application/testing process, the first step is to simply register with www.publicsafetytesting.com and take the law enforcement written exam.  The test can be taken locally or in-person in many areas accross the United States.

 

  • Upon registering, PST will e-mail the applicant a study guide. A more in-depth study guide and practice test can be purchased from PST. Those who pass our written test with a score of 70% or greater will be considered an active applicant and will be emailed a background form to fill out. 

 

  • A passing test score is valid for 18 months. For those who do not pass, they may take the test again 90 days later.  

 

  • Potential applicants do not need to be in Alaska to test or apply for the Fairbanks Police Department. 

 

  • After passing the written exam, applicants will move forward to the physical fitness test.  To learn more about fitness testing options in your area, please contact: remotetest@publicsafetytesting.com.
