Congratulations to FPD Lt. Amy Davis on her graduation from the FBI National Academy, Session 284!

The National Academy is internationally known for its academic excellence. It provides officers ten weeks of advanced communication, leadership, and fitness training. Participants must have proven records as professionals within their agencies to attend. On average, these officers have 21 years of law enforcement experience and usually return to their agencies to serve in executive-level positions. Lt. Amy Davis has led our investigations department since she came to Fairbanks Police from Bethel Police Department in 2020. She has a total of 13 years of law enforcement experience.

A total of 53,908 graduates have completed the FBI National Academy since it began in 1935. Former FBINAA graduates from Fairbanks Police Department include Chief Ron Dupee, retired Chiefs Eric Jewkes and Dan Hoffman, retired Deputy Chiefs Brad Johnson and Dan Welborn, and retired Lieutenants Greg Foster and Tara Tippett. The National Academy is held at the FBI Training Academy in Quantico, the same facility where the FBI trains its new special agents and intelligence analysts.

We are so proud of Lt. Davis and look forward to welcoming her back to Fairbanks!
