Celebrating 20 Years in Law Enforcement!
Law enforcement is a challenging career and it’s truly a considerable accomplishment when an officer serves their community for many years! February 1st marked FPD Sergeant Dennis Benn’s 20th year in law enforcement, and we’d like to recognize him and say ‘thank you’ for his hard work over the last two decades!
Dennis Benn was hired with FPD in August of 2007 after serving over 4 years with Bethel Police Department as an officer, corporal, and sergeant. Since joining FPD in 2007, he has served as a SWAT Officer, SWAT Team Leader, Field Training Officer, and CIT (Crisis Intervention) Officer. In October of 2020, Dennis was promoted to patrol sergeant.
Sgt. Benn is a highly respected leader in our department and we are so grateful to be working alongside him every day!
