Please join us in welcoming our newest lateral police officer, Kyle Adams!
Officer Adams was born and raised in a small town in Utah. While his wife and five kids are his top priority, he is also dedicated to law enforcement. He always dreamed of becoming a law enforcement officer was able to take the first steps towards that dream when he became a corrections officer at the Central Utah Correctional Facility. In 2016 he became a deputy with the Sanpete County Sheriff's Department and loved it. He was promoted to Sergeant when he moved to Snow College Department of Public Safety and then became the Chief of Police with the Spring City Police Department in early 2021. He graduated with his degree in Criminal Justice at the end of 2021 and felt called to Alaska. Joining the Fairbanks Police Department has been the ideal way to pursue his love of the great outdoors while continuing his career in law enforcement. He is excited for this new opportunity to serve the citizens of Fairbanks while experiencing all that Alaska has to offer.
