Welcome to 3 new Emergency Communication Dispatchers

We are glad to welcome 3 new dispatchers. Pictured below are Mayor Eberhart, Emergency Communication Center Manager Stephanie Johnson and our 3 new dispatchers. Alicia Alexander, Kimberly Dolci, and Kasey-Lyn Wilson.Alicia – I have had an interest in public safety and emergency services ever since I can remember! I started pursuing this interest professionally as a volunteer with Girdwood Fire Department, I worked for the University for the Municipal Fire Degree Program and I will graduate this summer with a Bachelors of Emergency Management degree. Of which, each these opportunities allowed me to grow, learn, network and transition into employment with the City working as an emergency dispatcher. Dispatch has been a very good fit, I love it- I look forward to a long exciting career here.

Kimberly – I am a permanent Emergency Dispatcher at FECc and I started work on March 17th of this year. I have a Bachelors degree in Justice Studies with a minor in Communication Studies from San Jose University. In California I worked at the Palo Alto Police Department and Los Gatos/Monte Sereno Police Department in various capacities. I started as a Cadet at PAPD when I was in high school and later became a Captain of their Explorer Program. I later worked as a Police Assistant (CSO) at Los Gatos/Monte Sereno Police Department before my move to Fairbanks in August of 2013.

Kasey – I have 2 kids that keep me very busy. After being in the accounting world for most of my career I decided to make a leap of faith and go for my dream job as a 911 Dispatcher.
