Fairbanks Fire Chief Retiring

Chief Jim Styers has announced that he will be retiring from Fairbanks Fire Department and his last working day will be April 15, 2020. In his resignation letter, Chief Styers stated:

“It has been my pleasure to work at the City of Fairbanks Fire Department for the past five years. I have enjoyed working with the employees of not only the Fire Department, but also the entire staff at the City of Fairbanks.”

We’d like to wish Chief Styers well and thank him for everything he has done for FFD and the City of Fairbanks!
