FECC Dispatcher Wins Leadership Award

Congratulations to Fairbanks Emergency Communication Center’s Angela Modrell who was selected to receive the Communication Center Manager Leadership award after graduating the 2021 Fall Communication Center Manager (CCM) program in Jacksonville, Florida.

The CCM Program has a rigorous curriculum designed to develop and enhance the skills of today’s effective EMS leader. Each CCM class recognizes one student with a leadership award and the honor is bestowed upon them by their peers. The award is presented to a classmate whom the students feel has exhibited exceptional personal and professional leadership qualities throughout the course and who the students feel represents the best in EMS. The Fall 2021 CCM leadership award was presented to Modrell, who has been with FECC for six years and was recently promoted to dispatch supervisor.

All of us at the City of Fairbanks that have had the pleasure of working with Angela have seen firsthand how her effective leadership has helped those around her as well as many others in the Fairbanks community. Congratulations, Angela!
