Fairbanks Emergency Communications Center

Welcome to the Fairbanks Emergency Communications Center (FECC) webpage! Here you will find information ranging from alarm permits to teaching your child about 911. If you want to say “thank you” to a dispatcher who helped you out you can contact the call center director here. We even have a section where you can post questions online and they will be answered by a dispatcher. If you are unable to find the information you need on this site, please contact us directly at 907-450-6500.

FECC is located at 911 Cushman St on the 2nd floor of the Fairbanks Police Department, we are staffed 24 hours a day, every day of the year with a minimum of 3 dispatchers on duty each shift. The center currently employs 12 dispatchers, 4 shift leads and is managed by Stephanie Johnson the call center director. We provide call answering and dispatch service for the City of Fairbanks and City of North Pole Police, 9 dual fire and EMS agencies, 5 fire departments, 1 EMS first responder agency as well as the borough Hazmat Team.
