Up to $500 million dollars of construction at EAFB will need to take place. This will mean over 2,300 construction jobs and around 3,000 new residents for our community. The financial impact includes a need for up to 300 off base housing units.
On Monday afternoon, Mayor Eberhart had the privilege of addressing EAFB personnel in the Thunderdome. Thanks to everyone who helped bring this project to such a successful conclusion. This was a terrific day for the residents of the City of Fairbanks and surrounding areas.
