Downtown Association’s Partner of the Year Award

Today Mayor Eberhart received the “Partner of the Year Award” from the Downtown Association of Fairbanks. The award was presented to the Mayor “For choosing the Community Service Patrol as the core of a strategy to cost-effectively exercise Fairbanks’ grant of authority under Alaska Statute Title 47 to care for chronically inebriated persons.”
Mayor Eberhart has worked hard to keep this a priority for our community to make sure that inebriated persons have safe transport and care, while also freeing up officer time to focus on core mission duties.
