Due to inclement weather conditions, Mayor Matherly has ordered the closure of City Hall and the release of all non-essential City personnel on Friday, December 30. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, January 3. From all of us at the City, have a safe and Happy New Year!
The Hotel/Motel Discretionary Fund Committee met on Monday, December 19, 2016, to present allocation of grant funds to eligible applicants. To view the unofficial allocations, click here. Awards will remain unofficial until approved by the City Council at the Regular Meeting of January 9, 2017.

The City Clerk’s Office will accept Hotel/Motel Discretionary Fund Grant Applications through 5 p.m. Monday, October 31, 2016. To download the application or to learn more about who may apply, visit our Discretionary Fund Information page!
To view the UNOFFICIAL 2016 City of Fairbanks Election results, click here. All absentee, questioned and special needs ballots are included in the totals. The City election results will remain “UNOFFICIAL” until the City Council certifies the election results at the Regular Meeting of October 24, 2016.
The Unofficial Election results for the City of Fairbanks, City of North Pole, and Fairbanks North Star Borough regular elections do not reflect absentee, questioned and special needs ballots. The final count will take place on Tuesday, October 11, 2016.
Absentee voting for the 2016 Municipal Election is still available at City Hall during regular business hours through 5 p.m., Monday, October 3.
