Governor Walker’s address at The Westmark

On March 25, Mayor Eberhart attended Governor Walker’s address at The Westmark. The Governor discussed the state budget situation. He stressed the need for the Legislature to take decisive action this year to balance the budget through a number of steps so that we do not face the deficit and related problems in future years.

Mayor Speaks at Choose Respect Rally

Mayor Eberhart spoke today at the Choose Respect Rally about the importance of violence prevention. The 2015 Alaska Victimization Survey shows that the number of women reporting sexual violence, intimate partner violence, or both has decreased from 2010 to 2015!

TCC Supports Community Service Patrol

Yukutsk, Russia, Sister City Visit

Mayor Eberhart (third from right) and Mayor Kassel (far right) from the Fairbanks North Star Borough were pleased to meet with a delegation from Yakutsk, Russia. The Yakutsk delegation discussed with the Mayors and borough staff flood control, flood mitigation, and flood recovery. Yakutsk is a sister city to the Fairbanks North Star Borough.
